In short Soocial simplifies your contact management. The text on our home page reads:
Soocial intends to make your life easier by simplifying contact management. Todays average person uses so many different communication devices, all of them using their own pool of contacts. Soocial aims to create a solution to unobtrusively synchronize them behind the scenes.
So basically what we’re developing is a system that manages all your addressbooks. So for example when you change a contact on your phone, without thinking Soocial will make it appear on your home pc, laptop, pda whatever device your need it on*.
