Connected Friends – Share your most recent data and stay in sync

We’ve been tweaking away at a new feature and it’s finally usable.
Connected Friends allows you to share your most recent contact data directly with the people you want, and get their most recent updates at the same time.

Choose a contact with an email and you can connect to him.

All you have to do is connect browse your contact normally and if the contact has an email you will have to option to connect with him or her. After you’ve sent the connection request they’ll show up in the ‘Connected Friends’ group on your Soocial Address Book. As soon as the contact has accepted your request you’re connected. From that point on, anything you change will appear directly in their Address Book and vice versa.

So no more excuses for not being called for coffee because your friend didn’t have your new number, just connect on Soocial and your most recent contact data syncs with all his different Address Books anywhere!

Can you please help me finding the connected friends tab?
It is not (yet) visible in my soocial addressbook.

Hi Arno, you’re right — there is actually not an extra tab – it’s more like a group in the contact editor.

The blog post skipped a step in explaining how you connect with people in Soocial. I’ve edited the post and hopefully this makes it more clear.
